5 Effective Tips on Lose Weight for Beginners

The start of a weight loss journey can be the start to one of the greatest journeys that you will ever embark on in your lifetime. The causes for starting maybe varied. Everyone’s story is as different and unique as there are people on the planet. Whatever your reason for starting, whether it is health related, or you just wanting to look good, there has never been a better time than now to begin your weight loss journey.

There are many weight loss supplements available in market that will aid you in your endeavor to look good and feel amazing. Whilst supplements encourage weight loss that’s not all there is to it, so let’s take a quick look at some of the best tips for helping you lose weight and keep it off.

Portion Control

Let’s get it out there in the open. The weight problem didn’t become like this by accident. We are like this because of the poor food choices that we make. This is probably the most important thing to really stop and consider right now. You can do everything else below but if you omit this step and choose to ignore it then you are probably not going to lose as much as you want to and neither will you be able to successfully keep it off for a long time. So when I say portion control, I am talking about the food you eat, not just the food, but the quality of food you eat. Yes that’s right. I am talking about eating clean. Do you know where your food is coming from? How it’s grown? What’s in it? A general rule of thumb is eat more fruits and vegetables and less processed and refined food. In any given meal, eat at least half a plate full of vegetables, and divide the last half into two, filled with protein and carbohydrates.

Exercise Exercise Exercise

The 80/20 rule is that 80% percent of weight loss is attributed mostly to what you eat, and the quality of what you eat and the remaining 20% is your exercise schedule. We all have 24 hours in a day and if we make exercise a priority then we can all find time to exercise as much as we can find time to do other important things. Studies have shown that exercising first thing in the morning leads to a more efficient and productive day. And once you have exercised in the morning you avoid the risk of later not exercising. Find an exercise buddy to keep you accountable. Find a schedule and a programme that works for you. A good programme to help you get started is Shaun T’s Max Interval Training. Download a fitness app to help you keep track of your progress and don’t look back until you have reached your goal.

Mindset

Before starting on your journey you need to prepare yourself mentally. The battle is determined in your mind. So determine in your mind that you are going to make it and that nothing will stop you. You can do whatever you tell your mind you can do. So stop thinking negatively and surround yourself with positive people, people who will support your goals and encourage you. Joining a group online can be an incredible source of mental inspiration. So do all you can to make sure that you achieve your goal.

Drink Plenty Of Water & Take Supplements If You Need

Water during your journey will keep you hydrated and when you are hungry, or when you think you are hungry, drink some water first to check if you are really hungry or simply thirsty. On average aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water, this roughly converts to 2L of water a day. Taking vitamin supplements and weight loss supplements can also help you on your journey. Taken with a balanced diet this food supplement will help you reach your goal and maintain your desired weight. The supplements come in the form of tablets that may be taken two to three times a day at least 30 minutes before you eat.

Lifestyle Change

Last but not least, you need to remember that this is a lifestyle change. Do not go into this thinking, ‘as soon as I hit my desired goal, then I can eat ABC’. You are not here to starve yourself or make your life miserable. Eating healthy is all about preparation. Make your meals ahead of time so that you won’t be tempted to grab and eat the closest thing you can find. In fact, rid your house of all junk food, because if you can see it then you will most likely eat it. Take some time to learn about nutrition. Learn to read food labels. Let it become a lifestyle change, this is how you will be able to maintain that body once you get it.
